Donating pet items and volunteering at your local animal shelter: Animal shelters are always in need of various items, including pet food, treats, blankets, towels, cat litter pans, cat litter, and grooming items such as combs, brushes, and shampoo. Volunteers are also very much in need, and you will feel good doing it.
Becoming a pet foster parent: Many animal rescue organizations need people to foster abandoned, ill, baby animals, and those recovering from surgery or some other procedure. You can contact your local humane society, SPCA, or animal rescue organization, where you will receive an application and training.
